Pat paid the goat a nice compliment then asked Sometimes I find what looks to be an ideal spot. After multiple flies and plenty of casts; no takers. My question is how much time do you usually spend at a spot before moving on to greener pastures? Some people seem to be constantly moving; others […]
As our weather pattern continues I urge you all to get out and fish in the next few days. Looks like more rain may be on the way and the river systems are having difficulty keeping up with it. Fished the Rush last night 5-8 pm, with some success nymphing my way to the hearts […]
Greetings! I was going to tell you that conditions are improving because they are, I think. Around 11am it began to rain here, again. It was a nice, strong, healthy rain of short duration. Not sure of the amount yet but as of 5 pm, the flows on the Kinni began to rise again. This […]

A few caddis, a few cranes, no hatches to report. Nymphing with standard fare prince and p. tail nymphs worked as well […]
Here is the same photo of the Rush at Martel today. The water is dropping quickly but the color will remain for a couple of days. Here are a couple of photos I took a few years ago from a giant high water event in 2010
