I am going to Breakfast first. Then I will wet my line for the 32nd year in the same river as the 1st. The Kinnickinnics flows are a bit low today and the water will be clear as shrink wrap. We are in a bit of a drought you know. About now is usually when some high water events begin to occur. Aprox. 8 inches of crusty snow is in the valley, deeper in some spots. Snow shoes might help if your planning to walk a long distance. Have fun. I will tip one back for you this evening and report after the weekend.

My son and I will be on the Kinni too around 10:30! Good luck to you! The opener is finally here!

I couldn’t believe how stained the upper Kinni was were Brian and I were fishing. Of course that helped in the warm sunshine. The fish could certainly see a pink squirrel! We had an awesome opener, hope you did too.

Andy, Hope you had a fun time out. Did anyone in your group lose a landing net? Found one caught in a back eddy on Sunday off the Jackson Preserve access. It’s a long shot as it could have come from anywhere upsteam but can’t hurt to ask? JL
Thanks
I will check.
