The Lower Kinni has been fishable for the last two days. Fishing has been down right tough. As many as 10 anglers reported tough “Catching”. Small nymphs(#20 and smaller)as well as midge larva seemed to be the only patterns that caught fish. The Upper and lower are running at perfect water levels with slight stain to the water. Caddis(tan #16) were also on the water today, with marginal interest from the fish. The Rush river on the upper end was reported to be clearing and would probably be considered fishable by tomorrow. I did not see the Rush today myself. If you have a report let me know. Go fishing!

I fished the Rush at 465th this afternoon (saturday). Stained, but very fishable. I switched flies a lot, but there were enough risers to keep me busy.
The lower Kinni last night had few risers as well, but they were feeding on all sizes of BWO’s it seemed. There was a large beaver that would not leave me and I’m blaming that creature for all the fish I did not catch.
I wore long sleeves to keep safer from bugs and plants, but still managed to get either poison ivy or oak.
Thanks for the updates, Andy.
