The rivers of the Southeast have once again cleared. Most waters are back to fishable. The Whitewater is clearest on the South branch with the North branch being the most colored. Hatches have varried widely so be ready for anything. Caddis and and black beetles have been the most productive top water flies. Prince nymphs and Caddis emergers have been the best sub-surface flies. The Root is fine and the hatch report is similar to the Whitewater. I continue to get sketchy details about the hatches in the Southeast. If anyone is seeing something specific, please let me know.
