Although the Kinni is still running high and a bit yucky, the rivers to the East are good to go. Fished the Rush last night and was surprised at the clarity. There has been change and you will see your favorite spots a bit differently as you angle next time there. Where I was, the rocks were scoured clean which may make for some interesting terrestrial fishing later this summer.
Fish were in the likely spots as well as in some sneaky water and trout of all sizes were caught up to 15 inches. A nice outing. Even during the hour before dark there were NO rising fish and No hatches last night.

I fished the upper Kinni on Saturday morning and Sunday night. Yeah, it is still a bit murky, but it actually fished quite well, dead drifting a bugger as an attractor with a pheasant tail dropper. The weed growth is still there and aside from one under cut bank that fell in, it looked like it weather the storm quite well. No hatches except for a 30+ boat plastic hatch on Saturday, which signaled an end to my fishing. Now with last nights rain, I’m sure it is looking like chocolate milk yet again.

Tried the Rush near 10 Sunday morning. Tricot have started but only biscuits were targeting the duns.

Thursday night, after fishing the Rush, I sat on the tailgate to have one PBR before the drive home. I remember thinking about Tricos and how they might have weathered the recent storm. Turning the ignition to the truck, I looked down. Low and behold, one Trico, probably a boy, was making his way up my leg. I softly picked him up by the wing,,,,,, and ate him.

Yes, but clearing on the edges. Hopefully for fishing sake the weeds will be beaten down.
