At 3 PM Thursday afternoon there was about a foot of clarity on the edges of the Rush River at HWY 72. Some folks may consider it fishable tomorrow, some may not. All the water to the west of there was fine today. Fish ate midge pupa, caddis pupa, stone flies and p.tail nymphs in #20 and 22. Look for the gray caddis in the next two days or they will probably hatch during the closed season. Wisconsin trout seasons closes at midnight Sunday May 1st and will re-open Saturday May 7th. You can fish until 11:59PM on Sunday.
