img_1730Although the area received little rain over the last week we are still seeing heads(trout heads) feeding on the surface throughout the day. It is possible to spend the day just casting dries and have a nice day fishing. Lt. Hendrickson and PMD/sulphur patterns have worked in all stages along with Golden stones. Temps in the River ranged from 60 to 66 degrees yesterday and this slight cool down has helped activity. The evenings are active with surface fish with a bevy of different insects on the water. The puzzle is complex to figure out but one must patient and just keep repeating your drift over targeted fish and eventually you should get a hit. Have fun!
