Today it continues to spittle and rain. The upper Kinni was a bit off color yesterday with the lower being unaffected and crystal clear. The weeds are thick on all stretches of water so be prepared to be diligent at checking your sub-surface rigs for weeds, they appear on almost every cast. Blue wings were in the air yesterday and you could hunt individual fish if you wished. Water is cooling down and the conditions seem right for a nice active final push, but who knows. Fishing smaller nymphs seems to be more effective than the larger models at this time. Red and copper, Copper Johns worked well yesterday in sizes 20 and smaller. These turkeys were out playing with the deer the other day. I’m hoping for a new hybrid species this spring.
