Morning:Cool, no Trico’s yet but keep checking streamside spider webs. Try to get out at sunrise(5:30AM) I have seen no other anglers anywhere in these early AM shifts. Take a nap later…….. The stream has had a chance to cool for seven or eight hours. Trout are cold water fishes. Even a cool down of one or two degrees is enough to get the fish active at this time of the year. Combine that with low light conditions and you have the best conditions for fishing. Water temps were in the mid 60’s at noon yesterday. Cover water to find active fish. If there not eating at your favorite spot move, the will be eating somewhere, you just have to find them!
The evening power window is still there, there is just no specific hatch to talk about. A little of this, a little of that. Go Fish.
