The forcast for fishing in the Southeast is bright and sunny. Waters are in great shape and with a little extra water to boot. anglers are having luck on both drys, nymphs and streamers. The nice weather has pushed the hatches slightly forward and no rain is predicted until late Friday at this point. Dark Hendrickson’s in #14 and Caddis patterns in #16&18 have done well. Large nymphs in #12-14 to immitate the stone flies also worked well. Don’t Forget about the black Wolly buggers for streamers, the fish are chasing them during the mid-afternoon warmup. Angler, Evan Griggs also reminded me about the emergence of the crayfish from beneath the rocks. Crayfish patterns can be deadly on large trout at this time of year.
