The mornings have been productive on top with a smattering of bwo’s and midges. Midge larva and small (18-20) soft hackles have worked well in the shallow riff’s or fished just below the surface. The bright sunny afternoons have been a bit slower with some fish going into holding, instead of feeding lies. I think they have been on the feed for the last few days and are digesting a little at midday. It should only continue to be good. Don’t forget about the black wooly buggers, the fish have been chasing.
