During the warm weather, the snow and rain had raised the water levels in most of the Southeast streams. The water levels have returned to normal. Many anglers had great luck before the water levels rose. Many folks don’t know that Brown trout eggs hatch around this time and the fact that we had runoff in February does not bode well for the new young of the year. Needless to say, pink has been the color of the winter. Pink Scudds, Pink Pupas, Pink Squirrels have taken nice fish for people this winter. There is lots more fishing to be had so get out there. Its been good! Thanks to those of you who have been e-mailing me reports, keep them comming.
