I was at the lot on the lower Kinni at 5:45AM on Saturday morning. The temp was 28 degrees and there were 9 cars parked, with no anglers in sight. I was not the early bird. The guides were frozen and the fishing was good. Dead drifting a #10 hares ear and a caddis pupa in olive, size 14, was the ticket. The water is clear so make as long of casts as possible. The reports through the store have been spotty.I dont think many of you were out last week. The water levels are fine but rain would not hurt.
