River conditions today are variable. The Rush river varies in clarity from top to bottom, people have reported catching fish throughout the river system regardless of the water clarity. 3 inches of rain. I saw no fishable water this morning. The oracle is unable to predict when the waters might clear. Too many variables.

The waters of Pierce and St. Croix counties are running clear and cool. Insect action continues to be good mid-day during the slightly cooler weather. Although the S.E. was pounded by heavy rain recently some of the streams should be fishable by this weekend. The hardest hit was the Root river watershed, with the main river still running mud this morning. Diamond , Gribbon and some of the other small tribs have calmed down and will be fishable. As of Monday at 11 AM the Rush river was Chocolate milk at 570th but clear at Martell. Both the upper Kinni and the lower Kinni were spared by Sunday nights torrential rains.
