After weeks of pounding rain for the last few weeks the rivers throughout the region have returned to normal. What is normal you ask ? Spooky Clear! With the exception of some mystery sections of the Rush River which seem to still be slightly stained. The weather has generally been hot and sunny sending the fish to deep pools, broken water or tight against the banks. Elk hair caddis and buggers against the banks along with small (#20 or smaller) flash back P-tails have been taking fish. Think Crane flies in the evening.
