Two weeks ago I looked at the lushness of the forests and fields in our little slice of the world and wondered when it would stop raining. After spending ten days fishing on the fringe of the fires in a state I have grown to admire, I thought this was pertinent.

Follow-up comment rss or Leave a TrackbackOur rivers may not be as broad and deep. The hatches not as plentiful. Our trout may not be as big. Still, we should all be happy for what we have. Remember that if the biggest trout in the creek is at 14″, catching and releasing it is a major accomplishment.
The grass is not always greener. Pun intended.
