Sorry I’m late. Although I never made it far enough east to look at the Rush, conditions elsewhere tell me it is probably fine for fishing this weekend. The reports I received tell me it was a bit more off color than the Kinni but looking good. Look for BWO’S in size #16-20 to show up somewhere. You could also see some little gray caddis if it warms enough. I am guiding today, see ya out there.
Have fun!

I was on the Kinni off of Quarry Road yesterday. Only one fish was caught on a zebra midge right under the bridge.
Andy, you were right on about the BWOs! They made for great fishing today, despite the wind. Thanks!
Greg
Great day on the water. BWO hatch in the early afternoon, before the rain; dry and emerger both worked well. They’re still in the deep pools and slower water. Ended the evening with two hook-ups on a muddler minnow…love that jolt.
A bit of everything, sounds like April!
Wind was fierce yesterday. Sometimes tough to get out of it. I am surprised the bugs did not get blown off the water.
Keep banging away at them. The more time you spend out there, the better your chances.
