Last week I received this fine communication from a friend that I have never met. His name is Kyle. Seems like a perfect investment to me. Enjoy the photography, attend if possible and donate if you can. www.kylezphotography.com

I am currently a graduating senior at UW-Stout in Menomonie,WI and I am contacting you with a request/question. I am an aspiring outdoor adventure/fly fishing photographer who has spend my college summers living and traveling the American west. I will be hosting an exhibit in which a percentage of the proceeds will be donated to the Kiap-TU-Wish chapter, in response to the wonderful job they have done and continue to do with the streams in Western WI. Personally, I would love nothing more than to donate all the money from the show to the TU chapter, but do to the show being solely funded out of my pocket on top of my final semester of college, puts me on a real tight budget come graduation. This show is being put on as a personal goal of mine, it is not related to the university what-so-ever. The show is titled, “Don’t Feed the Bears,” photographs of the American West. It will consist of over thirty pieces, from steam engines to fly fishing to bears. Viewers will truly be taking a step into the western wilderness. So, the request/question I have for you is, would it be possible to mention the show in one of your blog posts to help generate attendance? The show runs May 1-26 with the opening reception on May 7th from 7-10pm @ the Raw Deal in downtown Menomonie, WI. The show is free admission with donations welcome. There will also be live music, craft brewed beer, and wonderful photographs. Donations over $10 will receive a 5×7″ photo of choice.
