I attend this function every year and help teach fly casting. It is a great event and a way to improve your casting skills.
See ya there!
Lew Jewett Chapter of FFF / American Casting Association Fly Casting Clinic
An open to the public, Fly Casting Instructional Clinic will be held on Saturday, March 19 from 1 to 4 pm. The event will be at the St. Croix Valley Recreational Center Dome (1675 Market Drive, Stillwater, MN). The Lew Jewett Chapter of the Federation of Fly Fishers and the American Casting Association are teaming up to provide casting instruction addressing beginning, intermediate and advanced skill levels. New this year will be instruction on Tenkara equipment and techniques.
The instructors will include certified casting instructors, nationally ranked casting experts and local guides. Equipment is provided, but everyone is welcome to bring their own gear. It is a fun time for all skill levels and a great opportunity for free instruction or a chance to practice advanced techniques for upcoming fishing trips.

is this the kind of thing that is appropriate for 8 & 10 year old kids? they want nothing to do with my instruction, but i think they’d listen to someone else.
I think they take all comers. There were kids there that age last year.
Hi Andy, thanks for your pointers yesterday at the casting clinic! My boyfriend and I learned a lot from you. A small lesson, but a large impact on our fishing experience.
The pleasure was mine, you were good listeners.
