PAD

The Kinni was clear and fished well on Thursday. The Pale Afternoon Duns were in the air  during the early afternoon. The hatch was spotty but the fish would take a tan, pale yellow or brown imitation of this #14 mayfly if they presented themselves as surface feeders. The amount of surface action was also spotty with the fish never quite getting as active as one would wish. A good day was had by all and evening surface action all the way to dark was good as well. The Rush today got clearer the further up stream you were on the river. Fish were on the surface, but patient hunting was the rule if you wanted to throw the dry. Comparaduns in sizes 16-20 worked well in olive or pale yellow. Nymphing and streamer fishing brought some fish to hand as well. The pace of catching was slow but consistent. The Gang
