After almost 10 days I will return to the streams of Pierce County today. Not much has changed since the last report. The waters are gin clear and fish are getting spookier than the ghouls in a haunted house. Some anglers have reported increased caddis activity and increased surface activity with an abundance of cream midges being the dominant flying insect stream side. No conformation on the black caddis though, and with overcast skies and rain predicted for the next 4 days the conditions may not be right. The black caddis seems to emerge on sunny afternoons. We desperately need the rain though. The rain is falling now at 6:30 AM.
