About two tenths of an inch of rain fell yesterday on the watersheds of Pierce Co. The rivers may be a bit off color with both the major rivers running at just over 100 CFS and falling. Monday the Black Caddis were in the air and thick. The fish were feasting like it was free cheeseburger day at MacDonalds. The most active period was from 1PM-3PM throughout the sunny mid-afternoon warmth. Today it is windy, cool and overcast so the hatch may not go, but I’ll be there. I’ll tell ya how it goes.
