The rivers are clearing but are still a little high. Fishing the last two days has been good but spotty, with water temps in the low to mid 40’s. Fish were more abundant in the slower pools, fringes and seams. No surface action was seen, but mayflies and midges were in the air. Best patterns were big black Stone fly patterns including #8 Prince nymphs and Dark Lord #12. The next few days should be gang busters so get out if you can. Warm weather should bring some fish to the surface.
