After 10 days of fishing the Southeast a mixed bag of results has been reported. Anglers in the first few days experienced little luck and cold toes. As the temps moderated the fish became active. Caddis Larva in olive and tan size 14-20 and similar size scudd patterns performed well. Midges were also a hit both in larval and adult forms. Yes I said adult. A few reports noted anglers taking fish on drys! Also the infamous Wolly Bugger showed some promise with both slow and fast downstream retrieve. All in all I think anglers were happy to get out and wet a line in the nice weather.
