On Wednesday 4 different species of Swallows were eating Midges by the cloud full. This was Quite a sight and was a great side show to the fishing. Dry fly action was sporatic but some fish were up. Nymphing was the ticket but the combination of both worked better. No rain is in sight but all the fish are still there. Dont be scared away by the low water, go early or late and your chances can improve. Practice your casting and improve it on the water. make long casts and be accurate, you only may get one chance in this spooky water. these are great conditions to challenge youself to become a better angler. There is no better place to be when time is yours.
