The first frost of the year blanketed the grasses this morning. The river valleys were foged in and cool. The fishing has begun to pick up in activity. Both dry and wet fly fishing has been most productive in the warmth of the afternoon. Parachute Adams and small BWO emerger patterns both in #18 or smaller have worked best for the dries. Lightening bugs in silver and pearl, along with Prince nymphs and P. tails in a variety of sizes have been good. Don’t forget about Mr. Bugger in black.
