The rivers are clear and spooky and dry fly fishing in the mornings has gotten tougher. The Tricos are still in the air but recently the fish have gone to thier afternoon hidding places by the time the spinners fall. Some fish are still working the Trico’s but the numbers are less. Caddis at dusk have been the best. Try a downstream drift with a #14 Elk hair trailed by a #20 brown Caddis Pupa, the strikes are voracious. Sory in the delay in the reports ,not much has changed. I was on vacation and able to get a few days of out State fishing in.
