Although the S.E. was pounded by heavy rain recently some of the streams should be fishable by this weekend. The hardest hit was the Root river watershed, with the main river still running mud this morning. Diamond , Gribbon and some of the other small tribs have calmed down and will be fishable. The Whitewater area received heavy rain but it was spotty. Beaver creek has the best water clarity as of today. The rest of the watershed should be back to fishable by this weekend barring more heavy rain. Hendricksons, Sulfurs, Caddis, and BWO’s were all in full swing before the rain.
