River conditions on both the Kinni and the Rush varied on Monday the 18th. Standing water on the fields and in the gully’s and dry runs may continue to cause a problem when temperatures rise near 40 degrees. Generally the upper ends of both rivers have remained stained but very fishable. The lower on the rivers you fish the greater the chance of run-off causing a problem you will have. The midges have produced some incredible dry fly fishing with the fish taking most offerings from small black caddis to bwo’s to adams to midge imitations as long as the size was close. Nymphing has also been good, mostly in the faster or deeper water. Prince nymphs, etc.. Have a nice day! Go Fish! Call if you need more up to date info. Who has been fishing MN, I have no reports.
