Tricos! YES. Finally a consistent hatch with opportunities to hook large trout on small flies. The only hurdle to get over is to get up early enough. Hatches on both the Kinni and the Rush have been coming off at about 6 AM and ending about 8:30 but only on certain stretches of the river. The cooler temperatures we have been having may shift the hatch to a bit later in the morning but get out there early just the same. Both male and female Tricos have been taking fish but the black spinners have been the most productive in sizes 20-22.
