Rivers have cleared for the most part. The fish appear to have been hunkered down during the recent high water and are feeding with reckless abandon. Mondays Weather was far less than desirable, with gusts of wind up to 40 MPH and snow. Patterns of choice were BH Prince #16, Tung head Soft hackle H.E. and Pass Lake Streamers in sizes #12,#14. Surface action was sparse because of the wind, but the BWO’S were out and about. The lower reaches of both the”Kinny” and the Rush are still dirty and high . The back-up from both the St. Croix and the Mississippi rivers is apparent.
