The report for today is less than encouraging. The kinni dirtied from top to bottom today. At 8 am the upper was chocolate milk. The lower river at F bridge was clear and just tinged with color making it perfect. By 6 pm the Lower Kinni had gone off color and was rising. There was no rain but the delayed effect of yesterday’s rains did not show until late in the day today. Go figure. Reports from anglers that had visited the Rush reported it as dirty with little to no visibility at El Paso. With rain in the forecast for the next few days it will be hard to predict how fast they will clear. Stay tuned.

Rush was still chocolate and blown out around Martell at 7am today. The Kinni at swinging gate (the gate no longer there, who wants to rename it “booo, gravel path access?”) was clearing and fishable. Upstream from there a ways was as clear as normal and the fish were eating WB’s, PS’s and BWO’s. The Rush looked like it would take a day or two to come down and clear.
does anyone have any updates on the lower kinni today?
