My friend Randy called me this afternoon and said he had driven by the Kinni at the Co. Rd, F crossing. He also told me he watched a guy fly fishing just up stream from the bridge. I think a number of people make this same mistake. Remember, The catch and release opener is always the first Saturday in March, not March 1st. Granted, some years it is on March 1st, but only if it is the first Saturday.
I took the dog for a walk on the Lower Kinni yesterday. Here is what it looked like. Sorry about the length of the clip. let me know if this is too long to watch.

Follow-up comment rss or Leave a TrackbackGreat video Andy. Really made me excited for the opener this weekend. Thanks.
The short clips are really fun to watch..and it doesn’t have to be high-tech either, unless folks demand it…and you get paid for it, but the clip on the Kinni is great. I wish I could take some clips of the southern Driftless down here, we have lot’s of snow, yet, but the waters are truely looking great. I heard temps in the 40s this weekend!, that may throw color in the water.
~The folks fishing today we’re probably shocked that there weren’t other’s out on such a beautiful, sunny day! If it would’ve been in Minnesota they would’ve been busted in a heart-beat.
i am so bummed i cannot get out until next week… your vids are makin’ me restless!
the video is great andy! by the way, we are totally out of your business cards at the fly shop. bring me another stack of cards if you want me to put out again this year.
