This mid-winter getaway is a great chance to relax with friends, tie some flies and enjoy Josephs cooking. If weather permits trout fishing is open in Iowa and Minnesota, which is just a short drive away. The schedule for the entire weekend is rigidly flexible, we may eat earlier or later, we might even have a guest tyer drop in on Friday or Saturday.
Dinner will be waiting for you on Thursday night. After breakfast on Friday well sit in the beautiful fly tying area and fill our fly boxes for spring. Well take a lunch break then tie more or just relax in front of the fireplace until dinner if you wish. Saturday after breakfast we will again tie or we might make a side trip to the Badger Opener in Madison. We also might make a visit to the local Vernon Vineyards winery and stock up on libations for dinner. Sunday after breakfast is on your own, you can explore the area before you head home.
Price is $395 per person, includes 3 nights accommodations all meals, which are BYOB and taxes.

Effective Spring Creek Fly Tying Classes

Join me at the warmly inviting Mayfly Lodge just outside of Viroqua, WI for these hands-on tying classes. There are two classes offered, each with a tying session before and after lunch. I will be teaching six patterns each day that are all beautiful, fun to tie and effective on the Spring Creeks that I fish.
