Big Pack Mallard Flank Feathers
Color: Wood Duck Tan
This pack is loaded with nice quality flank feathers and is much larger than the standard packs of mallard flanks. Use these feathers for tying wings, tails and legs on many of the Midwest’s yellow to tan mayfly patterns like Hendricksons and Sulfurs.
Mohair Blend GOAT BOY Dubbing
This is angora goat hair (mohair) from our pet goats.
Natural White: This is the washed and carded fleece from Cloud and Lightning, our wethers. This is the natural color of mohair before dyeing and is the fleece you would use if you wished to dye your own colors.
Natural Gray: This is a natural light gray straight from Misty, the only female and the gray goat in the herd.
Silver Shadow: This color is great for large soft hackles, steelhead flies and stone flies. The color is similar to Adams gray.
Blue Dun: Another great stone fly dubbing with just a hint of blue. It is THE dubbing for lifelike mohair leaches and buggers.
Pale Black: Soft hackles, stones, steelhead flies-the main color I use.
Sassafras: This is a great orange scud dubbing and a nice orange for steelhead.
Old Yeller: This color is a dirty yellow but bright. I use it for golden stones and as a nice addition to steelhead flies, Old Yeller.
Raw fleece also available on request.
CDC Feathers from Goose (natural gray)
CDC(Cul de Canard) describes this buoyant feather from ducks and geese. Its water repelling qualities make it perfect for dry flies and emergers and has been popularized in many of today’s best trout fly patterns. These bulk packages are loaded with all the feathers from around the preen gland and are perfect for all tying applications. Goose CDC is slightly larger and lighter in color than duck CDC and is perfect for wings and bodies on larger CDC flies.

TMC 16/0 Thread
Made available in March of 2011, I have seen nothing but positive reviews on this thread and this description serves as another. TMC 16/0 thread is small, strong and slightly waxed. It is flat, like Ultra Thread, but more dimure than Ultra’s smallest at 70 denier. The sheen is subtle, making it perfect for small thread bodies and heads. This is not cheap thread, but like fly line, it does all the work. Tying with it for the last month, I have been impressed. You will be too. That’s why you see it on this cart.and coming out of Japan may be difficult to keep in stock because of recent disasterThis is definitly a winner if you tie trout flies.
Gordon Griffith’s 14/0 Sheer Ultrafine Thread
If you tie trout flies and have not tied with this thread, then you are missing out. This is by far my favorite thread for tying, especially small flies. The ultra sheer characteristics enable you to tie, building very little bulk, and giving you high breaking stregth to boot. The earth tone colors are perfect for matching the naturals since many of my small patterns are tied with just thread bodies.
