Bentley’s Balls Strike Indicators Medium (3/8″)
Package of five (5)
Bentley’s Balls are visual, adjustable and buoyant, making them the easiest and most useful strike indicator on the market today. The 3/8”(medium) size is perfect for shallower, flatter water situations where anglers will use minimum weight to float their flies at depths of less than 3 feet. This one is for spooky fish in small streams.
Bentley’s Balls Strike Indicators Standard (1/2″)
Package of five (5)
Bentley’s Balls are visual, adjustable and buoyant, making them the easiest and most useful strike indicator on the market today. The 1/2”(standard) perform in all conditions from the Big Horn river in Montana to the Spring creeks of Wisconsin. The size of this ball enables anglers to float their flies using up to two BB shots at a depth of 7 feet in broken water or deep pools. This is my all around first choice.
Bentley’s Balls Strike Indicators Large (5/8″)
Package of five (5)
Bentley’s Balls are visual, adjustable and buoyant, making them the easiest and most useful strike indicator on the market today. This 5/8”(large) ball provides the fly angler with versatility. This larger size ball comes in 5 colors and allows for easier sighting while long line indicator fishing for steelhead or smallmouth, as well as just a little extra buoyancy to keep a two fly rig or a crawfish pattern hovering over the bottom. I personally like this size for anglers who don’t see as well and it is a great size to enable new indicator anglers to detect the subtlest of strikes.
Bentley’s Balls Strike Indicators Steelhead (3/4″)
Package of five (5) 3/4″ Fluorescent Orange
Bentley’s Balls are visual, adjustable and boyant, making them the easiest and most useful strike indicator on the market today. The 3/4”(steelhead) is the bubba of all strike indicators. This big ball floats the big weighted flies through rough water and deep pools and can easily be sighted when making long line drifts. I use this in big water, deep situations where alot of weight is necessary to get to the bottom.
Payette Paste Floatant
Payette Paste is a the paste floatant I use. This product is for keeping my leaders floating high when I am fishing dry flies or emergers. Monofilament easily cuts through the surface tension of water, making it difficult to keep a dry fly floating for any length of time. Liquid silicone based floatants will wash off of monofilament leaders much quicker than silicone based paste floatants. That is why this paste is my first choice for keeping my leaders a-float.
Seaguar Grand Max Fluorocarbon Tippet
Seaguar Grand Max is the best fluorocarbon on the market. Knot strength and strength to diameter ratio puts this tippet at the top of the class. Anyone who has experienced a hook-up with a trophy fish knows the difference between landing and losing a large fish mainly lies in your terminal tackle and the knots you tie. There has been somewhat of a cult following developing among trout fishermen and especially Great Lakes Steelheaders for this product.
