Harrop's biot body spinner(male)

Harrop's biot body spinner(male)

Here are the spinner patterns I carry with me. I will carry them in sizes 20-24 although #26 is also a prevalent size. An important note is that the male spinners(black) fall to the water first in the progression of events in a trico spinner fall. The females will follow with almost their entire body being lost in the ovipositing process. The male and females are different patterns and it is believed that the trout will shift their attention to one sex or the other. Rarely will they feed unselectively on both sexes. If you have your own favorite spinner pattern send me a picture.
