As of Tuesday the streams in Pierce Co. were returning to a fishable state. Water temps were in the low 40’s on the Rush river and higher on the Kinni. Dry fly action on the upper Kinni was good with reports of Midges and BWO’S. The clarity of both rivers was fair, with only the edges clear. Anglers were catching fish on Brassies, Prince nymphs, and a variety of other midge patterns. Heavy rains could screw things up again so stay tuned or call for updated reports.
